This place never disappoints and has a large variety on their menu. They are QUICK to get your food out & budget friendly

Amazing, 10/10. Reminds me of my home town pho restaurants. Great for small gatherings. Food came out relatively quick and they were kinda busy. Flavorful. Shaking beef sooooo good. Would totally come again. Attentive staff. Nice ambiance. Though they assumed one of my family members couldn't use chopsticks so they gave him a fork. Thoughtful I guess but he was fine with chopsticks. LOL. Anyways pretty clean place. Tight parking.

Open later than the other Vietnamese places in Washington Ave which was very convenient. Unlike other places, (ahem- Sophia's kitchen and Pho Ha) they actually still serve food until closing which we were eternally grateful for. Service was quick as well. We shared spring rolls which were ok. I wish there would have been more shrimp but tasty nonetheless. The Bún bò Huế was pretty good. I wish it would have been spicier but was still very impressed by the quality of the dish. The place has ample seating with a full bar as well.

Unlike some restaurants (Sophia kitchen), it actually remained open during advertised hours. Ample amount of seating with prompt service. Ordered chicken with peanut sauce and curry.

Nam Phuong makes legit Vietnamese food. I've brunched and lunched here with family and friends for years. Nam Phuong is a popular South Philly restaurant. Thankfully there's plenty of seating; room for a crowd. Driving? There's (tight) shopping center parking, and street parking too. They make a mean bowl of pho and there's plenty on the menu if you're not in a soup mood. The lotus root salad is totally killer, the bo luc lac is savory. Who doesn't love beef cubes? Recommended if you need a Vietnamese fix! Dependable, efficient service. Credit accepted. PRO TIP: Want to spice up your meal, and Sriracha won't cut it? Ask for red chili peppers. (I didn't know they offered those until this past week!)

If you ask someone from Philly where to go for Vietnamese food, I bet a lot of them would recommend Nam Phuong, it's practically an institution here. We've been here a few times whenever we are in town and the food never disappoints. It's no frill, fast and never disappoints. I personally always get the Bun Bo Hue here, it's like a nice warm hug on a cold day and a soothing reprieve on a hot day. The Bo Luc Luk is always a good bet as well, tender and perfectly seasoned. On the opposite spectrum, the Vietnamese coffee is always a hit or miss, sometimes taste burnt, sometimes disgustingly sweet. So order that at your own risk! Service is fast and prompt. Space is large and airy. Always a great experience

Absolutely one of my favorite Vietnamese restaurants in south Philly. The fact that they have large space to have a party amazes me in such a small strip mall. It is situated near an Asian grocery store next to several other Vietnamese restaurants. Parking is generally available and free, however you'll be lucky enough to score a spot. The services are excellent; they will do everything they can to make your meal pleasant. One of my favorite dishes that they have there that I couldn't find anywhere else is the large sized appetizer 124. Pho is on the larger portion end, plenty of bean sprouts to come with. Really great on your wallet.
